MVICASA Partners with Veteran Photographer to Empower Youth! 

Maple Valley Indians Cultural and Sports Association (MVICASA) joined forces with esteemed veteran photographer Jamie Mitchell on March 23rd, 2024, to ignite a new passion in our youth!

This impactful workshop offered young enthusiasts an invaluable opportunity to learn from a master with over 40 years of experience. Jamie shared photography fundamentals, guiding participants through the intricacies of lighting and composition and helping them master their cameras to capture extraordinary images.

From serene landscapes to the thrill of sports photography, the workshop catered to a wide range of interests. Whether budding digital photographers or film enthusiasts, students came together to refine their skills and explore their artistic potential.

Held against the stunning backdrop of the Maple Valley Library, the workshop provided an immersive learning experience further enhanced by beautiful weather. This collaborative effort empowered aspiring photographers of all skill levels to unlock their creativity and develop a lifelong passion for photography.
