Charity Cricket Fundraiser 2025
On March 22, 2025, the Maple Valley Indians Cultural and Sports Association once again demonstrated the transformative power of community collaboration through our annual Charity Cricket Fundraiser. This year, we proudly raised funds for Backpack Buddies, championing nutritional support for low-income students in our community.
Our event was graced by remarkable leaders who embody the spirit of service: Sean Kelly, Mayor of Maple Valley; Carson Coates, District Director for Council member Reagan Dunn; and dedicated community advocates who believe in the power of collective action.
Eight passionate teams came together not just to play cricket but to create meaningful change. Each run scored and wicket taken was a step towards providing essential nutritional support to children who need it most.
We stand united in our belief that when communities come together, no challenge is insurmountable. Our cricket field becomes more than a ground for sports; it becomes a platform for hope, compassion, and tangible change.
